Melissa Wilson, age 42, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born in Steubenville on June 22, 1977, the daughter of Delania and Jim McKinney.

Melissa was Baptist by faith and attended Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church in Steubenville. She attended Steubenville "Big Red" High School class of 1995. She worked as an STNA for Lancia Nursing Home.

She was a loving, and giving individual with a charming personality and a kind heart. She enjoyed hanging with friends and going to parks such as Kennywood with her family. She had a passion for listening to others and always provided great advice.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James "Joe" and Lois Bloomfield.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her husband, James Wilson; her parents, Delania and Jimmy McKinney; three children, Derreck Dallas, Kiersten and Gregory Wade Jr.; two sisters, Brandi (Reginald Boffman) Scott, and Erin (Eric) Harris; one niece, Mariah; a host of other relatives and friends.
