Michele Lee Dickey Scurry, 49, was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Charles Dickey and Monica Borner.

Michele was a kind person and would go out of her way to help others. She was most proud of her sons and grandchildren, who she adored. She met and had a loving and long-lasting relationship with her life partner, Vonetta Harton. Michele was a chef by trade until her health failed.

She had a long battle with Diabetes and succumbed to this illness on March 1, 2020. She will forever be remembered and sadly missed by her sons, Charles Cody Dickey, Jonathan and Myron Harton and C.J. Cason all of Steubenville; her partner, Vonetta Harton; sisters, Janet Dickey Smith of Florida, Jennifer Traux of Toronto, Ohio, Amanda Dickey of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio and Casey Barr of Florida; one brother, Lance Barr of Steubenville, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 4 nephews, 4 nieces, a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
