Michele Jean Nelson Johnson, age 69, died October 1, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on April 6, 1950, to the union of the late Emerson and Angeline (Ewing) Nelson.

Michele by heart was a devout Christian. She was a very kind, caring, and generous woman. Michele was devoted to helping others and always put everyone before herself. Her favorite hobbies were to crochet and sow. Her family wants everyone to know she was an avid survivor with the best personality in any situation. Her incredible strength will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Angeline Nelson.

She leaves behind to fondly cherish her memory, a devoted son, Sean (Deidre) Reighard; and three grandchildren, Skylar, Abigail, and Brantley; a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Private services were accommodated for her family per her request. Interment: Fort Steuben Burial Estates
