Mildred Lee Brown

Mildred L. Brown - There will be a viewing hour at 1:30 p.m. at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Mildred L. Brown, 79, who departed this life on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, in Greenbriar Health Care Center. 

Mrs. Brown was born April 10, 1939, in Youngstown, a daughter of  Fredrick P. and Ophelia M. Jones Grays.
She was a license cosmetologist, a member of the Gospel Temple Baptist Church, and its Mother's board, and the Missionary Society.
She leaves her children, Bobby Earl (Geraldine), Kevin Curtis (Sharon), Joseph Levell Brown, and Cheryl Ann (Alphonso Jr) Hackett; 21 grandchildren, including Shaunta Marie Johnson and Jerry Smith Jr., whom she reared; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zebedee Brown, whom she married Oct. 6, 1956, died May 13, 1997; a daughter, Juanita Brown; a son, Laurence E. Brown; a brother, Fredrick Grays Jr.; and a grandson, Demond Lamar Brown.
