Bullard

Ouida Jones Bullard, 87 of Weirton, WV passed away on Sept 13, 2012 at Weirton Medical Center.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1925 to the union of the late Jessie and Ella Hornsby Turner in Coffee Springs, Alabama.

She met and married Lovie Jones and to their union three children were born.

She retired from Con-Agra Foods in Alabama. She was a former member of St. Peter's AME Church and attended Quinn AME Memorial Church until her health failed. She enjoyed reading the Bible, cooking, traveling and talking on the telephone to her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five stepchildren; Vernon, Freddie, Bobby, Irene and Mary Elizabeth, four sisters; Mert, Irene, Bernice, and Erie and her twin Vita.

Ouida leaves to cherish her memory: children; Eloise (William) Curenton of Weirton, WV, Willie Frank (Cleo) Jones and Linda (Douglas) Lane all of Saginaw, MI, two sisters; Mrytlee Brannon of Guntersville, AL and Mary B. Caldwell of Panama City, FL, five step children; Essie M. Lynch of Ft. Washington, MD, LD (Catherine) Jones of Weirton, Clarence and Rudolph Jones of Elba, AL and Ulysses (Marie) Jones of Wintersville, OH, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends; special granddaughters, LaKeisha Pelt and Jackie McDaniel, special grandson; Charles Perry Jones, special friends; Amy Stephens, Ginger Hinton, Marge Bish, June Hollaway, Margaret Robinson, Wanda Bolling and Carrie Jeter, her Saginaw Michigan friends and much gratitude to Dr. Paul Wieckoivski.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Tues., Sept., 18th at Williams, Gregory and Martin Funeral Home, 411 N. 7th St., Steubenville, OH

Funeral Wed., 11:00AM at Quinn AME Memorial Church, 515 North St., Steubenville, OH with Rev. Eddie McDaniel Officiating. Burial will follow at Three Springs Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
