Patricia Ann Ravnell Fowlkes of Campbell, Ohio, transitioned from this life on August 5, 2026, at her residence.

Patricia was born on April 4, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Andrew Dothard and Alfredora Fitzgerald.

She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Patricia worked as a preschool teacher with CETA from June 1983 until July 1984. She later owned and operated her own service in Crewe, Virginia, from 1996 until 1999 before eventually returning home to Campbell, Ohio.

Patricia was deeply loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and was especially passionate about the lottery, making sure she played her numbers every day. Patricia was tough, yet she possessed a very kind and loving spirit. She cared deeply for others and gave generously to those she loved.

One of the things she would often say was, “Call your Dad.” Her great-grandson, Amari, was her baby. He spent a great deal of time with Patricia, and the two shared a special bond that no one could ever break.

Patricia also had a special love for butterflies. Now, her family finds comfort in imagining her flying high among them. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and caregiver, April Dothard of Florida; her son, Benjamin Ravanell of Nevada; her grandchildren, Dominique Dothard, Monica Ravnell Escebedo, Monique Ravnell Torres, Kemonne Miller, Dallas Dothard, and Kaylib Root; her great-grandchildren, Antwan and Amari Baldwin, Kaleesi Heard, Delilah Root, Deondre and Genevireve Escebedo, and Israel, Isabela, and Evelyn Torres; three nieces, Latreva Dothard, Michelle Brannon, and Lynette Ravnell; her nephew, Terri Walker; her godson, Jamiel Hill; and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fowlkes; her parents, Andrew Dothard and Alfredora Fitzgerald; her grandmother, Inez Ravnell; and two sisters, Joanne Ravnell and Christine Brannon.

A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life of Ms. Patricia Ann Fowlkes will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the funeral chapel located at 292 Madison Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44504. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon.
