Quiana Jonika Lavender was born October 13, 1979. Quiana was the daughter of Gary Thomas and LaTricia Solomon of Steubenville, Ohio. She entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2016.
Quiana was baptized at Apostolic Light House; Weirton, West Virginia. She was a graduate of the Steubenville "Big Red" High School. She worked many years as a home health provider. She embodied the desire to be an entrepreneur and just this year she started her own car service in Steubenville where she was able to help anyone in need of transportation.
Quiana was a kind, sweet, fun, loving, smiling, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, God Sister, and friend affectionately known by her Grandma Iola as "Fatso" She loved playing cards and being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Iola and Ross Lavender; Paternal Grandparents, Genevieve Jackson, Minnie Thompson, and Lewis Thompson.
Her beautiful loving spirit will always be cherished and remembered by her special loving children, daughter, Kalayzah Lavender; son, Javon Griffith. and their father, Jeremy Griffith; Mother and Step-Father, LaTricia and Sonny Solomon; Father, Gary Thomas; her beloved only sister, Tawonna Carpenter; niece, Dominique Carpenter; nephew, Di'Quan Carpenter; God Sister, Yasmine Fields and a host of family and friends.
