Ravyn Tanae Sims was born on August 28, 2004, to Charese Sims and Cory Wiffen.
Ravyn was a proud graduate of Youngstown Early College, where she completed her studies in 2022 as part of the Youngstown City School District. During her school years, Ravyn was an active cheerleader and proudly participated on the Flagline.
After graduating from high school, Ravyn began her career as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio. After relocating to Georgia, she discovered her true calling as a Recreational Behavior Therapist, where she dedicated herself to working with children with autism. Ravyn had a special gift for connecting with the children she served. She loved them dearly, and that love was returned by the children and her coworkers, who cherished her presence, compassion, and joyful spirit.
Ravyn had a beautiful zest for life. She loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, make memories, and simply enjoy life to the fullest. She was the light and life of every party, bringing laughter, love, and energy wherever she went. Her vibrant personality and beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ravyn leaves to cherish her precious memory her parents, Charese Sims and Cory Wiffen; her brother, Malik Benson of Tampa, FL; and her siblings, Amaya Wiffen of Coffeeville, AL, Jailyn Rocker of Mobile, AL, Cory Wiffen II, Shyannah Ellison, Sydney Ellison, Caitlyn Wiffen, and Mia Alberti. She also leaves to cherish her memory her aunts, Davina Mims of Lawrenceville, GA, and Penny Benson of Tampa, FL; her uncle, Charles Mims of Loganville, GA; and her grandparents, Tanya and Charles Mims, along with a host of other loving family members, friends, coworkers, and all those whose lives she touched.
Ravyn was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved brother, Raymon Sims; her great-grandparents, Virginia and Douglas Sims and Eddie Bonds; and her aunt, Charnell Mims.
Though Ravyn’s time with us was far too short, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the joy she brought into the lives of others will live on forever. Her beautiful smile, loving heart, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
Rest peacefully, Ravyn. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved you.
