Robert "Bob" L. Harris, Sr. went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2016 at the Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.

Bob was born on April 1, 1929 in Steubenville, OH. He was a 1945 graduate of Steubenville High School. He retired from Timet where he was known as "Boomer" after over 30 years of service.

He was a life-long member of Second Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer for several years.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Platt Harris; a son, Robert L. Harris, Jr.; his parents, seven brothers, and four sisters.

He is survived by: his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Janice Harris of New Albany; three step children, Edward (Vicki) Littlejohn, Franklin (Jenny) Littlejohn and Heather Littlejohn; brothers, Clarence (Liz), Richard (Etta) Harris of Smithfield, Ohio; sisters, Bernice Wilson, Virginia (Ernest) Peterson, Barbara (Edward) Dokes, Rose Mathews, Debbie (Jack) Horner, step siblings; James (Sandy) Wilson and Marylin Howard.
