IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Ingram Jr.
August 28, 1972 – April 16, 2025
Robert Lee Ingram Jr, 52 of Steubenville, Ohio entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 16th at Trinity West Hospital. Robert, the son of Robert and Pamela (Watkins) Ingram, was born August 28, 1972 in Steubenville, Ohio.
Robert was a 1991 graduate of Steubenville High School. He continued his secondary education at Youngstown State University. Robert, always a "home body," returned to his hometown and enrolled at Eastern Gateway Community College. Here he studied vocational science and obtained Certification in Welding. Prior to his illness, Robert was employed at Capstone as a Fork Lift operator. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Robert had a quiet loving spirit and would do anything within his means to help others. He was a loving and caring son, grandson, brother, nephew, dad, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Lucy (Evans) Ingram; maternal grandparents, Robert and Doris (Ward) Ingram; paternal uncles, Clovis, Barney, Joe, and Walter Ingram; paternal aunts, Joyce Palmer, Minnie, and Irene Ingram; and maternal uncles, Robert and Richard Watkins.
He thoroughly enjoyed watching football and basketball on the big screen. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan until they made him mad. He then switched his allegiance to the Cincinnati Bengals and became a Die Hard Bengal Fan. Imagine the teasing and bullying he faced working in PA right in the heart of Pittsburgh Steeler Country. He would always say, "Just you wait, our day is coming." He was also an avid Ohio State fan.
He loved his family dearly, especially his three daughters. He leaves behind to treasure his precious memories and love: daughters, Natalia and Nyah Ingram of Steubenville, Ohio, and Ni-Kai Walker of Monroeville, PA; his parents, Robert and Pam Ingram of Steubenville, OH; brother, Timothy Ingram of Steubenville, Ohio; two nieces, Timia and Timya of Steubenville, Ohio; two aunts, Patrica Cross Watkins of Cleveland, Ohio and Peggy Ingram of Steubenville, Ohio; the mother of his two daughters, Erin Dunburg, who cared for him during his illness; and a host of relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor Robert will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Second Baptist Church, 717 Adams St, Steubenville, Ohio. The viewing will be 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Services will begin at 12:00 noon. Minister Joseph Ingram Jr. will deliver the Eulogy and Minister Thomas Tillman Jr. will preside. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery and a repast will be held in the fellowship hall of the church.
