Robert Glenn Robertson, II

"Kayo"

July 19, 1960 - March 19, 2021

Robert Glenn Robertson II, 60, of Wheeling, West Virginia, was born July 19, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Robert Glenn Robertson and Evangelist Ruth Lucious Stinson. On Friday, March 19, 2021, he was called home to be with his Heavenly Father.

Robert was affectionally called, "Kayo" throughout his life was known to be a kind person with a "big heart" full of life and laughter and never short on words. Kayo was an employee of A1 Cleaning Services as a Facility Upkeep for various locations in Wheeling, WV.

Kayo's love for cooking/culinary arts was shared with all that knew him.

Did you feed my people?? Yes! Matthew 25:35 I was hungry, and you gave me meat; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in.

He was an avid fisherman; he could be found on the riverbanks with his grandmother, uncle, cousins, and friends.
Did you witness to others? Yes! Matthew 4:19 Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Robert has a personal passion for boxing where he competed in multiple boxing matches… he was a true protector of those he loved.

Did you trust me? Yes! Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, hold your peace.

Our beloved Kayo lived a life with a purpose and now he is fulfilling God's promise.

His uncompromising love for his family and tons of friends even unto death will be his legacy.

He was a light in a dark world. Let your light so shine that the men would see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Colossians 1:13, If Robert was here, he would say he was recused from the domain of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of the side he loves which was Jesus Christ. He surrendered his life to the Lord to be a living witness through his own testimony of how if the Lord could do it for him and he knew he would do it for others. He had a burning passion to bring as many people as possible, to know the true salvation of the Lord and invited them to join him at his church on Sunday morning, Bethlehem Temple is where he loved to praise the Lord and testify to the goodness of his Lord and Savior.

Kayo had become a faithful member of Bethlehem Apostolic Temple where he loved to serve the upbuilding of God's kingdom. Robert's love for his church goes back over 40 years where he was reared at a tended age with his Grandmother, Geneva Wallace the Mother of the Bethlehem Temple, and his life eternal friend and brother, Pastor Darryl W. Cumming would stand by his side. Robert's life journey took him in many directions through the good and the bad but followed Christ to the right road.

Robert "Kayo" Robertson II lived his life like it was GOLD...for he professed GOD OUR LORD DELIVERS and wanted to share that everywhere he went.

If I could help someone along with lives journey, then my life was not in vain.

Robert "Kayo" Robertson II was preceded in death by his father Robert Glenn Robertson; step-father, Rev. Willie F. Stinson; his beloved Grandmothers, Geneva Lucious Wallace and Voila Robertson Long along with other loved ones.

He has left to hold these memories his beloved Mother, Evangelist Ruth Lucious Stinson of Steubenville, OH; Sons, Robert Glenn Robertson, III, and Treylonnie Denzel Robertson both of Wheeling, WV; Six Grandchildren, Jayden Grey, Kaylee Robertson, Donovan Shanley, Zaeshaun Robertson, Marcus Robertson, and Kylonnie Robertson; Two Sisters, Dr. Willette F. Stinson of Charleston, WV; and Renita Stinson Lavender (Lorenzo) of Steubenville, OH; Stepbrother,  Michael Styles (Diane) of Hartford, CT; Along with his nephews, Tayari and Ja'Quan Lavender; and one niece, Fredrika Stinson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
