Roberta Elizabeth Colliers, 89, departed this life on September 3, 2018, at Weirton Geriatric Center. Roberta was born on November 29, 1928, in Brownton, WV, the daughter of Benjamin and Anna (Fuller) Turner. She was happily married to Henry Colliers. Roberta was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Henry, and a son, David.

Roberta is survived by 3 siblings: Rev. Donald Turner, Pittsburgh, PA; Pastor Barbara Garlington, Pittsburgh, PA; and Mrs. Brenda Duncan, NY.  The following siblings proceeded Roberta in death: Lucille Brown, Harry Turner, Alice Sharp, Anna Mae Vick, Dorothy White, Beatrice Parks, Elnora Sanford, and David Turner.

Roberta graduated with honors from Lincoln High School and graduated with a degree from Steubenville Business College . Roberta enjoyed years of worship at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She worked tirelessly at The Hub, GC Murphy, A & P, and other retail businesses, before serving the local community faithfully at the Dunbar Recreation Center.

Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. on Friday Septemeber 7, 2018, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Weirton, West Virginia. A celebration of life will be held 11AM on Saturday, Sept. 8th at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
