Rolland L. Owens, Jr. "Winky"
was born on Dec. 22, 1964 in Steubenville, Ohio to Rev. Rolland Owens and Jacqueline Robinson Moore.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was employed by HydroChem as a truck driver. Winky loved cars and watching movies.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ernest C. Robinson, Percy and Nellie Owens, great grandparents; William and Aria Wilson and his stepfather; George Kenneth Moore.
Winky departed this life on Jan. 11, 2015. he leaves to cherish his memory: The love of his life; Charlynn Wade, two sons; Rolland K Owens and Kahlil M. Owens, a daughter; Shamya Owens, one grandson; Keiaun Ownens, his parents; Rev. Rolland (Betty) Owens and Jacqueline Moore, two brothers; Brent and Corey Owens, two step sisters; Kilita McShann and Carmen McCelland, a step brother; Kenneth Jett, grandmother; Virginia Robinson, special cousins; Torchee Robinson and Tracy Lawrence, a host of other relatives and friends.
All services will be held at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church, 708 N. 5th Street, Steubenville, Ohio
