Rose Anne Swearingen, 66
Tina, as she was affectionately called, passed away June 15, 2012 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in New Rochelle, New York to the late James H. and Maggie McGee on June 19, 1945.
She met and married the late Louis Swearingen and their union produced two children, Jackie and Curtis.
She was a homemaker and truly loved her family. Tina was a very gifted seamstress and could fix anything into fashion. She was a sharp dresser and loved to look good head to toe. She was an excellent cook and could cook anything! In her quiet time she liked to do jigsaw puzzles. She was outgoing and truly liked spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James McGee.
Tina leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Curtis L. and Jacqueline Swearingen; siblings, Bennie Poteat, Robert, Geraldine, Joyce, Cathy, Diane and Margaret McGee; grandchildren; Latina Featherston and Jacquala Strawder, great grandchildren, Amya, Brock, Jr. and Makye Hopkins and host nieces, nephews and many of other relatives.
Funeral Sat., June 23rd at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church, 708 N. 5th St. at 1:00PM. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM until service begins. Rev. Dr. Charles E. Thomas, Jr. Officiant.
