Shauntain White was born December 13, 1975, in Harlem, New York, to Marilyn White Queen and Jimmy Dawson.

Shauntain loved being with his children. They were his joy! He was a people person; he would do anything for anyone. Everyone loved him. He was a very straightforward person. He loved playing PlayStation, cards, and hanging out with friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Dawson; and two brothers Toby Smith and Eric Dawson.

He leaves behind his mother Marilyn Queen; children Dorian Thomas, Ky'On Taylor, Semaj White, Nishon White, Kamea White, and Jabari White; one sister Julia Dawson; brothers Shannon White, Calvin Smith Jr., James Dawson, Tone Blair, Ajani Lawrence; his fiancée and best friend of sixteen years Briana Cash; the mother of his sons Tiffany Taylor; sister-in-law Joenika White; as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service, 4:00 p.m. at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Rev. Craig Smith will deliver the eulogy.
