Shelia Lynn Drakes was born on August 21, 1945 to the late George and Eula Smith in Steubenville, Ohio. She was one of six children born to their union.

Shelia was a graduate of Steubenville High School. She had a strong foundation in her Baptist Faith and was a lifelong active member of Second Baptist Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma! She more than adored and loved her family. Her 43 year marriage to the love of her life, Fred Drakes, was BLESSED with three children; Jason, Diana and Tiffany.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; George and James, and two sisters; Vonetta and Cynthia.

On October 22, 2015 Shelia departed this life. She leaves to cherish and remember her life: a dear husband; Fred, loving children; Jason (Kandie) Drakes, Diana and Tiffany Drakes, a host of grandchildren, a wonderful sister; Pricilla Williams, many other relatives and dear friends.
