Stewart L. Jones, Sr., 50

affectionately known as "Stu" passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 quietly at his home.

He was born on August 25, 1962 in Weirton, West Virginia and was the youngest son of Edna and the late Fred Jones.

Stu was employed by the Hancock County Senior Services in the Transportation Department for a short period.

He graduated from Weir High School in 1980 and went on to attend West Liberty State College.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Edna, two loving sons in whom he was so proud; Stewart, Jr. and Freddie of Weirton, a brother; Fred (Linda) of Pittsburgh, PA, two sisters; Wendy (Harvey) Sims of Strongsville, Ohio and Jacqueline (Eddie) McDaniel of Weirton, WV, an ex-wife; Selena of Weirton, a step-daughter; Tamara, four half brothers and sisters; Freddie, Carolyn, Wanda and Augustine all of Cleveland, Ohio area, a niece; Erin, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, friends and a special friend Katy.

Stu was well known for his witty humor and will be missed dearly.

Viewing will be from 9:00am-11:00AM with services starting at 11:00AM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Gregory and Martin Funeral Home, 411 N. 7th Street, STEUBENVILLE, Ohio. Rev. Eddie McDaniel will officiate.

Burial will follow at Three Spring Cemetery
