Mrs. Theaudria Fletcher, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 16, 1936 to the late Robert Ford Tinsley and Ruth Greer Gamble.

She met and married the love of her life, the late Gordon E. Fletcher, who passed away on July 17, 2011. They were married for 63 years and three children were born to their union; Albert, Kristell and Kerry.

Mrs. Fletcher was very well respected in the community for her. She and her husband owned and operated many businesses throughout their years together, which she managed. In her younger years, she was a model and a majorette in her hometown. In 1974 she helped supervise a study through Harvard University called "The Harvard Lung Study". The study directly correlated the impact the mill pollutants along with other air pollutants had on the lungs. Thea, as she was lovingly called, worked at Kinney's Shoe Store, Myers and Stevens, and Mendelsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Thelma Mae Tinsley; and a brother Rudolph Gamble.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Albert "Kurtis" Fletcher, Kristell Fletcher and her daughter Jordan-Starr , and Kerry "Khalil" Fletcher; 5 Grandchildren, Krisina Anderson , Jordan-Starr, Beyani, Malik and Akirah Fletcher; 2 great grandchildren, Nyria and Treymont; 3 sisters, Rev. Doretha (Bishop Jerry) Brown, Roberta (Wallace), and Patricia Bohanna

Tootsie, a family nickname, was a fighter and never complained. She was fearless and longed to see the face of her Savior and return unto him and receive her reward – to us, her children and family, she was our hero, our lifeline, our eternal flame and we will continue her legacy with the grace that she poised and possessed in every step she took and every word she spoke.

Private services will be held Monday June 13, 2016. Interment will follow at Union cemetery in Steubenville. friends are welcome to join the family around 5:30PM at Belleview Park in Steubenville.
