Tiffany L. Hendricks-Bruce, 55, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 23, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Born on March 21, 1971, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Roland “Jack” Hendricks and Marlene Powell Molbrough. Tiffany spent most of her life in Steubenville, surrounded by family and building friendships and memories that stayed with her throughout her life.
Tiffany began her education at St. Anthony Elementary School. She later attended Catholic Central High School, where she was a member of the marching band and color guard. She went on to attend Steubenville High School, where she was also a member of the Big Red Marching Band, and graduated in 1990.
Throughout her life, Tiffany worked in food service and store management. She worked hard and took pride in her work, but her greatest accomplishments could never be measured by a job title. Her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren, were the center of her world.
Before experiencing debilitating strokes, Tiffany especially enjoyed cooking. She loved attending church, listening to music, particularly gospel, and gathering with her husband, children, family, and friends. Tiffany was a fighter who worked hard to remain active and keep her spirits high, continuing to be present in the lives of those she loved.
Whether she was spending time with her children and grandchildren, laughing and talking with family and friends, or sending greeting cards, Tiffany knew how to make ordinary moments memorable. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, generosity, strength in the face of adversity, and unmistakable personality. She loved hard, fiercely protected the people she cared about, and never hesitated to speak her mind!
She leaves to cherish her memory her loyal husband, Eugene “Hoppy” Bruce; her children, Justyn J. Hendricks and Jordan J. Hendricks, 34, Willie J. Hubbard Jr. (Jenna), 32, Raekwon T. Williams, 30, and Marcel R. Hendricks and Marlita V. Hendricks, 23; and her stepchildren, Sheila Bruce (Zy’ion’E and David) and Edriauna McIntyre (Leggend).
She also leaves her cherished grandchildren: DaVeena Hendricks, 15; Aliesha Hendricks, 14; Kingston Carter, 2; Jordan J. Hendricks II, 2; Aeri’Onna Hendricks, 14; Antonio Gianni, 12; Kenzi Hendricks, 11; Karter Hendricks, 10; Ja’miere Hendricks, 3 months; Demetrius “Tink” Brandon Jr., 17; Myauna Brandon, 15; James Brandon, 13; Noriah Hubbard, 11; Khyzier Prager, 23 months; and Zhymeir Prager, 8 months.
Her memory will also be cherished by her sister, Tasha Underwood (Indya, Chyna, and Zaire); her cousin and lifelong best friend, Melissa Shackleford (Jerrick and Zaedyn); her lifelong sister and friend, Marie Smith (Shayla, Jiah, and Jah’Zionn); her aunties, Brenda Watson, Sandi Rue, and Vickie Gilliam; the mother of her oldest granddaughter, Sheba Steven’s, whom Tiffany called her daughter; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Tiffany was preceded in death by her parents, Marlene Molbrough and Roland “Jack” Hendricks; her beloved grandmother, Mabel Hendricks; and her longtime friend, Beth Miller.
Although we, her family, are heartbroken by her passing, we are grateful for every year, every laugh, every conversation, every lesson, and every memory we were blessed to share with her. Fifty-five years could never have been enough for those who loved Tiffany. Her life and love will continue through her children, her grandchildren, and every person who was blessed to know her.
A public viewing for Tiffany L. Hendricks-Bruce will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Gregory-Martin Funeral Home, Steubenville Chapel, 255 South 7th Street, Steubenville, Ohio 43952.
