Trenaya was born on October 29, 1991 in Steubenville, Ohio to Sarah Blackburn and Trenton Shuttlesworth.  Trenaya was Methodist by faith.

She was a scholar graduate of Steubenville High School and attended Kent State University after graduation. Trenaya returned to the area and continued her education at Eastern Gateway Community College and she just finished her Nursing Degree at Trinity School of Nursing. She was in the process of studying for the State Licensing Exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aid at Catherine's Care Center.  She recently had a daughter, Kamille, and truly enjoyed being a mother. Trenaya loved her baby and relished in the new joys of motherhood. She also adored spending time with her family and a quiet movie night with her mom, siblings and friends was always welcomed.

Trenaya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Beverly (Eugene Robinson) Blackburn and William Mitchell.

She is survived by her parents, Sarah and Trenton, a daughter, Kamille DeSilva; siblings, Nariah and Arthur Jones, II, and Trey Shuttlesworth, paternal grandparents, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
