Tyra Sharee West, 59, the daughter of James C. Williams and the late Sharon Baker Brown was born on July 25, 1962. and departed this life on August 23, 2021, at Trinity West Hospital.

Tyra was educated in the Steubenville City School System and was a proud graduate of Big Red High School. She adored the Mighty Big Red Stallions. After graduation, she attended some college in Columbus, Ohio and later was united in holy matrimony to William West. She was a true wife, a loving Mother, and a good friend to those who knew her. Tyra was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Mt. Zion Church while under Pastor Norries Hood. Throughout the years she worked various jobs, and the job she was the proudest of and it was one of her greatest achievements, was that of being a mother. Tyra loved when Kyle, Tyler and Sean called her mom, these three boys meant "The Absolute World to her". She enjoyed travelling, going to dinner, and girls night out with her three honorary sisters, Darla Simmons, Violet Wallace and Sabrina Martin who have been her lifelong friends.

Tyra was preceded in death by her husband, William Mack West, her mother, Sharon Baker Brown, and her brother Mark Darnell Williams.

Her footprints of life will be cherished by her loved ones in their hearts forever. She leaves a legacy of love to her father, James C. Williams and stepmother Mazie Williams, three devoted sons, Kyle Minniefield, Shawn West and Tyler West, one Brother Terrence Creech, one stepdaughter Brandy West, three step brothers, James, Donald, and Andre, 2 stepsisters Desiree, and Fena, Her favorite Uncle Carl Brown and two dear Aunts, Maxanna and Cathy, and a host of relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL AND LIFE EVENT CENTER, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio.
