Tyshawn Jett was born on Saturday, January 5, 2002 in Steubenville, Ohio.  He was  born to Michael L.  Jett, Sr. and Rockeeya Gilbert.

Tyshawn was a student and currently attended Columbus City Schools in Columbus, Ohio.  He loved football and when he was younger he played for the mighty Steubenville Tigers.  He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

He was a very loyal individual. He treasured his siblings dearly and cherished his relationships with each of them.  He had a special bond with his mother.  His mother loved him deeply and he truly adored her too.  He admired his father and held him with in very high esteem.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Forsten; and  paternal grandparents, Ronald Parris and Shelley Jett.

On April 9, 2017 Tyshawn  departed this life suddenly.  As he takes his rest; he leaves to cherish his memory:  his dear mother, Rockeeya (Duntae Riley) Gilbert;  his dutiful father, Michael (Stacy) Jett, Sr.,  his grandmother, Shaunnie Gilbert; a great grandmother, Alice Ross-Gilbert;  siblings, Tashara, Arabia, Sha Queena, Michael, Jr., Mikeeya, Justice, Jazzmin and  Jahquez  Jett, Makhi Johnston and Keuntay Long-Riley; his uncles, Kenneth Jett, Tyrelle Gilbert and Dashawn Mims; an aunt Shabia Jett a host of cousins and family friends.

He will forever be remembered.
