Obituary
JONES, Ulysses C. of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on December 22, 2013.
He was born in Elba, Alabama to the union of the late Lovie and Eula Jones on Oct. 16, 1935.
Ulysses was a Deacon and devoted member of Greater Zion Temple Church.
He worked and retired from Weirton Steel Corp after 41 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Irene Gory, Mary Elizabeth Langston, Freddie, Vernon, Bobby and L.D. Jones.
He is survived by a loving wife of 53 years, Ella Marie, his dear children, Ulysses, Jr., Tina (Ronnie) Hines and Nicola (Jamal) Babezzine, grandchildren; Hunter Green, Ronnie, Jr. and Jennifer Hines, Briana Jones and Brett Isler, one great grandchiild; Malachi, siblings, Essie Mae Lynch, Clarence, Rudolph and Willie Pete (Cleo) Jones, Eloise (William) Curenton, and Linda (Doug) Lane, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Friday, December 27, 2013 at noon at Greater Zion Temple Church, 500 N. Fifth St. in Steubenville. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service begins.
