Mr. Vincent Jenkins, 73, of Girard, Ohio, peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Caprice Health Care Center.

Vincent was born on November 27, 1952, in Charleston, South Carolina, to his beloved mother, Earlene (Williams) Wright.

He spent many years employed as a truck driver with R & J Trucking Company, where he demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication to his profession.

Vincent enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved playing pool, watching old Western movies, and cheering on his favorite football team, the Las Vegas Raiders. Above all, he was known for his outspoken personality and straightforward nature. Never one to hold back, Vincent spoke whatever was on his mind without hesitation. His honesty, humor, and unforgettable personality made him truly one of a kind.

Vincent leaves to cherish his memory his loving siblings, Lolly Williams, Jerrlyn High, and Clifford Wright Sr.; his devoted niece and caregiver, Angelia (Raymond) Rue, who lovingly cared for him; and his faithful four-legged companion, Porter, who held a special place in his heart. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and those he affectionately called “Little Baby.”

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Genevieve Jenkins; his parents and grandparents; his siblings, Valerie Williams and Andrew Mike Williams; his nephews, Clifford Wright Jr. and Sean Williams; and his great-nephew, Anthony Dorselt.

Rest peacefully, Vincent. Your journey is complete, but your memory will live on forever.

The family will receive friends for visitation and viewing on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Gregory-Martin Funeral Home, Youngstown Chapel, 292 Madison Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44504.
