Virgie Lee Meeks (Ruby Lindsey) was born May 16, 1941, in Darlove, Mississippi to the union of Clarence Sr., and Ruby Anderson Meeks. She passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Valley Hospice Care Center North.

Ruby graduated from Steubenville Cosmetology School. She was a lady with the biggest and most loving heart you would ever come to know. She raised almost all of Steubenville. She was a lady that loved to see things, cook, clean, and do hair. She was a very fashionable lady and set new trends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a couple of her siblings and one grandson, Demarcus Meeks.

Left behind to honor and cherish her memory are her six children Patricia Meeks, Terrence Lindsey, Sherrie Lindsey, Robin (Robert) Washington, Bobby Lindsey, and Jason Lindsey; a host of grand and great-grandchildren one brother Glenn Meeks; one sister Manard Brown; an ex-husband and dear friend of several years Lionel Lindsey; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 p.m. at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio.
