Virginia E. Jennings, a daughter of the late Robert and Tommie Brown, was born on September 25, 1923, in Weirton, West Virginia, and passed away on November 7, 2017, at the Weirton Geriatric Center with family by her side.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Riley Jennings, Jr. in November 2013, and a daughter, Cynthia Jennings, in March 2015.

She was a faithful member of the Morning Star Baptist Church, where she was a former member of the gospel chorus and assistant superintendent of the Sunday school. She was also a past member of AARP #3846.

She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and attended Steubenville Business College. She was a retired employee of Weirton Steel General Office Janitorial Department.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Jennings Branham (Douglas), a devoted sister-in-law Marie Brown, and daughter-in-law Terry Jennings, caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family Joanne Branham, Douglas Branham II, and Jillian Chaney.
