Mr. Wilbert Knight, Sr. was born September 15, 1923, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Lula Knight in Evergreen, Alabama. He was one of six children born to their union.

Wilbert worked for the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Coke Plant and retired after many years of service. He served his country in the United States Army and was Honorably discharged. Wilbert was a very loving and kind man that had a witty sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Rosetta Knight;  a daughter, De'Lois and his five siblings; George, James, Bob, Mamie, and Pearlie.

Wilbert departed this life early Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a son, Wilbert Knight, Jr; a daughter in law Lynn; four grandchildren, Keisha, and John Pettaway, Tiffany, and Justin Knight. Ten great-grandchildren, Shaquil, Shilyn, Shyoun, Zyah, Trey, Jayden, Naveah, Ellington, Lakin, and Malachi; a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
