William Ray Hairston was born September 12, 1979, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late William Toby Miller and Mary Hairston. He passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, in the comfort of his home.

William was a Christian by faith . He graduated from Wintersville High School class of 1998. After completing high school, William continued on and o btained his associate degree from Eastern Gateway Community College. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games , watching movies , and listening to hip-hop music.

In addition to his parents , he was also preceded in death by his grandparents Willie C. and Louise Hairston.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his two siblings Corey ( Geofrilyn ) Hairston and Sharon (Randy) Hairston-Hines ; nephews Randy Hines (Mackenzie) ; and Malcolm Hairston ; niece Laila Hairston ; one great niece Aria Hines; one great nephew Asher Hines; and a host of other siblings , extended family members, and friends .

A public gathering will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville , Ohio. Please convey condolences to the family through William's online guestbook.
