William C. Jeter "Willie C.", 70 of Weirton, WV entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2013.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1943 in Union County, SC to the late William, Sr. and Minnie Lee Jeter.
Willie C accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and attended St. Peter's AME Church. He was a graduate of Hancock County Schools and served his country during the Vietnam Era whereas he was awarded the Purple Heart.
He owned and operated Jeter's Roofing Company for over 45 years. He also worked as a General Superintendent for the Weirton Steel Corp. Railroad Transportation for 33 years.
He was a wonderful person full of love and shared it with all of his family freely. He loved to cook and travel with his family. He and his wife Juanita traveled to many places and enjoyed each other's love. He also enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Saundra Jeter and a brother Tommy Lee Jeter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Juanita, sons; Dwight (Christin) Jeter, of Painesville, Ohio, Tony Blackmon of Canton, Ohio, four daughters; Emma Jean of Steubenville, OH, Laura Petris of Detroit MI, Tina (Kenneth) Tucker of Carlisle, SC and Tiffany (Calvin) Jeter of Union SC, seventeen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister; Ethel (George) Jeffries, an aunt; Ethel Mae Gaffney of Woonsocket, RI, an uncle; Jimmie (Thelma) Jeter of Canton, OH, Special nephews; David (Mandy) Byrd of Weirton, WV and Javon Jeffries of Whitmire, SC, brothers in law, Willie Gaffney of Carlisle, SC and James Gaffney of Philadelphia, PA, a sister in law Louise Gaffney of Carlisle, SC, a beloved family pet ZOE, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation Sunday 2PM-4PM at Gregory and Martin Funeral Home, 411 N. 7th Street, STEUBENVILLE. Funeral will take place in Union, South Carolina under the direction of Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home.
