On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, William W. Johnson passed away peacefully at The Laurels of Steubenville at the age of 91.

William was a member of the former Simpson United Methodist Church in Steubenville. He was a United States Air force Veteran. He also worked as a boilermaker at Wheeling Pitt Steel for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Monique Harris Johnson.

He is survived by his dear wife, Emma Jean Johnson of Steubenville; two sons, William W. Johnson Jr., and Robert Lee Whaley; daughters, Emma J. Johnson, Mary Jean Johnson, Carolyn Allen, and Betty Jo Stephens; as well as a host of other relatives.

Private services were held for the family at Gregory-Martin Funeral Home in Steubenville. William's interment will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Union Cemetery, 1720 Sunset Blvd., in Steubenville, Ohio.
