THOMPSON, William A. "Tobe", 67, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away April 22, 2011. He was the son of the late Tobe and Emma Thompson.
Tobe (also known as Bill) was a retired teacher and coach by profession for over 21 years.
He was also a member of the Shepherd University Athletic Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward and Albert Thompson.
Tobe is survived by four children, Nannette, Nikki and William A. Thompson II and Natalie Thompson- Margida; one brother, Ervin Thompson; a grandson, Brandon Dozier and host of other relatives.
Homegoing service is April 28, 2011, at 1 p.m., Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Kessel St. at Weir Ave., Weirton, W.Va. Rev. Rudy McAllister will officiate. Family will receive friends 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
Interment Paris Cemetery Arranged by Gregory-Martin Funeral Home.
